This was a solid intro to the cyber security field. The course gives detailed expectations about what kind of roles are available, what their responsibilities are, and what you need to do to get into those jobs. Particularly, I appreciate being able to match my interests with related tasks of specific jobs. Additionally, I really like the career path portions. As an entry-level person not necessarily looking to pursue a formal education in cyber security, it was nice to see what my options are to break into the industry and what paths I can take to get to my ultimate goal. My only takeaway is the length of the course. 4 weeks of planned learning seems excessive for a course that only provides you with introductory knowledge of the industry, basic explanations about subject matter, and generalized steps you need to take to get the job you want. I was ready to get right into learning applicable technical skills specific to the industry. With that in mind, this course seemed more geared to someone who doesn't already have a strong in the field.
