I really enjoyed the course called the Art of Storytelling. 1) the videos were short 2) they got right to the point 3) the videos didn't put in fillers or unnecessary verbiage 4) the reflection or study question was helpful
I just need about an hour to complete the course. This one is so amazing as a tidy and objective course. Even though it is a short course , it fill with enough knowledge to improve the skill of story telling. I really love it.

I like it very informative, I got introduced to things that were always available to me when telling a story but I never really knew how to use them.Right? It's like, you know you can describe a character's feelings, but understanding how to use imagery or even sentence structure to *show* those feelings instead of just *telling* them... that's a game changer. I feel like I've been driving with the parking brake on this whole time. Now I'm ready to really explore how things like metaphor and symbolism can add layers to a story and resonate with the reader on a deeper level. I'm even thinking about how point of view can drastically alter the impact of a narrative. It's not just *what* you tell, but *who's* telling it, and *how* they're saying it. I'm itching to go back and rewrite some old stuff now, see if I can make it pop a little more, you know?
It's very practical and easy to follow. This kind of micro-learning is the future. It cuts out all the unnecessary details (aka fillers) and focuses on what you can actually use. The concepts are clear and actionable, so you can start applying them to your work right away. I was able to put what I learned into practice on the job immediately. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to make an impact without wasting time.
A very comprehensive course in telling a story to your audience. I really learn the pit falls of what NOT to do when addressing an audience and how to overcome my nervousness by applying and composing my story using the Rule of 3 wisely and effectively.

Good for Telling Stories in General. Not the best for making a business presentation into a story
I am working as an art and crafts teacher from past 16 years. I always narrated a small story about the work they going to do to enhance their enthusiasm. But I always felt that I need a guidence to make my stories more interesting. Thanks Coursera.. by taking this course I learned the do's and don'ts of the story telling. I learned how to present a story more efficiently. Thank you.
I was only an average students when I enrolled in this course, and in my hometown being a worker or a labourers is enough. But now i learn that life is far more than just working in a farm, you can actually tell a story for a living. So then without a second thought, i enrolled in this class. And I have to say, that it is the best decision of my entire life.
I really enjoyed this course, very uplifting and aspiring and inspirational to get started putting what I learned into practice and story telling improvements for best outcomes. The Instructor was very clear on the instructing this class and straightforward to breaking down the steps for the art of storytelling.
It enhanced my writing skills, specially the topic about the 7 mortal sins of a storytelling. I recommend this course, wherever you are on the first steps of writing, or in a more advanced level, as it will teaches you, or refreshes your mind about the beauty of a good story.
