In this Introduction to Medical Terminology and the Human Body course, you will learn about the medical language that is used to describe the human body. Throughout each Lesson, the roots of terms are explained to help students understand how medical terminology works in healthcare and to increase their knowledge and understanding of the material discussed.
This course will provide you with a better understanding and working knowledge of medicine that is required for understanding of medical records used for multiple purposes and job duties in the medical field. Lessons include: Introduction to Medical Terminology, Introduction to Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, Cells – The Foundation of Life, and The Human Body.

I was nervous about taking an online course since I learn better watching and hearing people rather than just reading but the course offered many different styles of teaching. There were textbook pages, a video, and also a little quiz where you had more interactions with, and a final test. I actually feel like I learned a lot and have a good start. This course is definitely worth it and I finished this course in just a little over 24 hours (total time actively on the course was about 16hrs)
Loved that there is different ways to study. Enjoyed the video portion as I'm more audio and visual learner. But also love that everything in the video is included in a readable format. The content was awesome. Content was done very well and organized in easy bite sized chunks. I usually get overwhelmed but I can say I enjoyed coming back to each VIDEO chapter.
I am happy that I was able to refresh my memories, as is been over 20 years since I got my degree in nursing which unfortunately I can use as is to old. Also this will help me in continuing and improving my career even tho is been 20 years i still love to help people and learn new technique.
I enjoyed this course a lot. I had taken Medical terminology previously but had been out of the medical feild for a while and wanted a refresh. This was easy to follow and super informative.
